Social Event:

NESEA coincides with ISAF Sailing World Championships which is being held in Fremantle in December 2011. Fremantle will “come alive” when the eyes of the sailing world fix their sights on Western Australia’s historic port city as the world’s best sailors battle for World Championship and future Olympic glory just meters off the water’s edge along the Fremantle coastline.

The NESEA social event will take conference attendees on a stable dual-hulled catamaran from the heart of Fremantle, through the harbour and into the Swan river. We will make our way slowly up the river and enjoy a traditional Australian BBQ overlooking the city. This will give conference attendees a wonderful view of the competition vessels, cruise liners, fantastic riverside views and the glistening Perth city center at dusk!

Visa Information:

Foreign travellers to Australia do require a visa, however this is usually a very simple, quick and free process. For most conference attendees, the
eVisitor electronic visa will be the most appropriate. An eVisitor is designed for people who are outside Australia and want to visit Australia for tourism or business purposes.
