The IEEE International Conference on Networked Embedded Systems for Enterprise Applications
( NESEA 2011 )
Fremantle, Perth, Australia
8th-9th December, 2011
Overview:
The 2nd IEEE International Conference on Networked Embedded Systems for Enterprise Applications (NESEA 2011) will be held in Perth, Australia in December, 2011. The conference is co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society (TBC). Fundamental research from the various specializations of networked embedded systems has been applied to tackle a wide range of significant problems. However, current approaches often lack consideration of how networked embedded systems should be integrated with enterprise architectures. NESEA aims to gather the best expertise in this field, to drive research towards the integration of embedded systems and enterprise architectures and promote the use of networked embedded systems in diverse applications such as energy monitoring and conservation. Target specializations of networked embedded systems include: Wireless Sensor Networks, Cyber-Physical Systems, Ubiquitous Computing, Pervasive Computing and Mobile Computing. The proceedings of the IEEE NESEA conference series are published by the IEEE Computer Society and indexed in IEEE Xplore and DBLP.

Important Dates
Journal Special Edition:
|
The two best papers will be invited for publication in the Springer
Journal of Internet Services and Applications (JISA). In this case,
the authors will have some time after the conference to produce
extended and enhanced versions of their papers incorporating new
results and the feedback provided during the conference.

The remaining papers of merit will be invited for extension and publication in a special edition of the International Journal of Design, Analysis and Tools for Integrated Circuits and Systems (IJDATICS). Once again, authors will have some time after the conference to produce extended and enhanced versions of their papers incorporating new results and the feedback provided during the conference.
